Bwindi Impenetrable Forest | Uganda

The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is an ancient rainforest that extends over a series of ridges in the Virunga Volcanoes mountain range in southwest Uganda.

Declared a UNESCO world heritage site because of its distinct ecology, biodiversity, and incredible natural beauty, Bwindi is home to about half the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population.
