Coast Redwoods span from southern Oregon to central California but rarely grow more than 50 miles inland since these giants rely on the unique climate of the Pacific Coast – namely fog – to guard against drought.
To stand at the base of Earth’s tallest tree is to know how truly awesome and immense nature can be. Coast Redwoods can reach heights taller than a 30-floor skyscraper. Tall enough that the tops of these enormous trees are out of sight.
